Welcome to the website for the Beekmantown High School Eagle Pride in the Sky high altitude ballooning project. This project was created with the purpose of using the Raspberry Pi computer to control a weather balloon sent up into the far-reaches of the atmosphere. This is done with the intent of collecting photographic and GPS data, and to spread the interest we have with this small powerhouse of a PC and exploring the air.
This site details the accomplishments, procedures, and data relating to this project, and is meant to organize the information used to complete this project provide a launchpad for others to learn and take part in the process.
We hope you enjoy the site, as a lot of work was put into making it presentable, detailed, and educational.
